GOALKEEPER ACADEMY  

This is a 10-week intensive, professionally structured program for goalkeepers that are  already experienced at either a fundamental or advanced level and are searching for a demanding training environment.  Players will be grouped accordingly after evaluation session.  Groups are very small, only 8 players permitted in EACH  session. Please note that this is an intensive program is geared for players that are truly serious about their development.
For players ages 10-18.
 
Tuition: $335    SOLD OUT

Your tuition includes: All players receive the following: Two - one hour Dartfish Video Analysis sessions (Sessions #1 and #10).  Eight - one hour Training Sessions. 
PLUS: Full training gear (Shirt, Shorts, Socks, Soccer Ball & mini-ball)

Goalkeeper Evaluation Dates
October 23 & 24, 2007 - 7-8pm

 EVERY player will be required to attend at least ONE player evaluation session.  At this time we will evaluate your playing level and place you in the appropriate training group for the 10 week program.

SPEED/AGILITY TRAINING w/soccer ball
This type of training is called Footwork, Footspeed & Plyometric Training (FFP).  It is geared to develop  quick feet, change of direction, explosion/acceleration & coordination/balance and incorporates a soccer ball into the majority of the training.  Sessions will include use of a speed ladder, speed rings, cones, poles, mini-hurdles, etc. in order to get your feet moving quickly and “under control” and with a ball at your feet too!  This use of the soccer ball in these exercises will not only develop quicker feet, but also help your feet become quicker with the ball too!

SPECIAL PROGRAMS

5-WEEK SHOOTING CLINIC
We are now offering a 5-week Shooting Clinic for boys and girls ages 10-14.  This clinic will focus on shooting the soccer ball with the proper technique.  Many shooting exercises and games will be done throughout the course.  It is geared for the recreational/travel level player that is looking to gain more experience shooting the soccer ball and gain confidence in doing so.

COACHES CLINIC
Systems of Play - with US National Staff member JIM LENNOX
Session based on the 4-4-2, 4-3-3 and 3-4-3.  Each system will be analyzed and discussed based on the characteristics of each system, roles of individual players, attributes of players needed to fill roles, etc.

On-field sessions will consist of walking you through the individual roles to create clear pictures. 

Certificate of completion will be given to each participant.
